Triangle of Transformation

By forging partnerships in ‘Triangles of Transformation’, our desire is to, in some way, restore hope to communities that have been blighted by poverty.

The ‘Triangle of Transformation’ is a fusion of three elements into a strategy that aims to enable change from within local communities. It works as follows:

Element 1
Partnering with international agencies and local people in projects across the developing world, we aim to facilitate transformation by locating and arranging the transport of the necessary resources that are unavailable locally - offering a helping hand to enable local communities to fight poverty; to build capacity and, in some way, combat the effects of poverty

Element 2
Mercy Logistics encourages and enables Industry, corporate bodies and other agencies to donate appropriate re-usable goods/resources/materials for distribution to local projects across the developing world, helping the organisations' funds go further, reducing waste globally and contributing to a more sustainable society

Element 3
Mercy Logistics works with Logistics and Shipping partners – who support our work as part of their commitment to their Corporate Social Responsibility agenda.
Logistics companies provide free/low-cost transport of goods from donors to Mercy Logistics warehouses and containers from those warehouses to shipping terminals.
Shipping companies provide free/low-cost shipping of containers to ports worldwide, also they provide access to the empty capacity of containers leaving the UK following delivery of imported goods.
